So I’m watching this video which is a hilarious commentary of this guy playing The Oregon Trail. And the game takes place in 1848.
So, I’m just sitting here and then a date shows up: March 1, 1848. And I just say out loud to myself “Phineas Gage was 25 years-old in 1848.”
Yep. I have no life.
It was the best experience ever. Legittt.
In my core class, we had to say our names and something interesting about ourselves as well as something ridiculous. My ridiculous thing about myself was that I cried for an hour over a book.
My professor asked which book and I said, “The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. It’s his newest novel,” and this girl sitting across from me gasped and I just turned to her and said, “I LOVE YOU.”
We chatted after class and I gave her my name so she could add me on Facebook and such. She said she knew 2 other Nerdfighters on campus, so hopefully I’ll get to meet them too.
So, yeah, my first Nerdfighter experience at college.
